1983-1986 Rawlings Bats

The Rawlings bats from 1983 till 1986 center brand featured the “Rawlings” logo, “Pro Ring” logo, and “Adirondack P302”. These are in the middle of curved type lines above and below. Closer to the end of the barrel is the “Big Stick Flame Treated” logo with the player model engraved signature. Some times the players name is in block letter instead of the signature.rawling-bat-83-86

1987-1989 Rawlings Bats

In 1987 Rawlings switched the centerbrand layout around a little bit. The “Adirondack” logo was incorporated into the “Pro Ring” logo and was moved to the right. The “P302” is under the “Rawlings” logo. Also gone are the curved style lines above and below the logos.

1990-1997 Rawlings Bats

In 1990 Rawlings removed the “Pro Ring” and “P302” from the bat barrel design. The “Adirondack” logo is now under the “Rawlings” logo with “Made in USA” in between the two. There is a thick solid ring that goes around the bat on the center brand at the “R” in Rawlings. The ring stops above and below the “R”, which can been seen in the bottom picture.

I have either seen or heard about a couple of different variations of the center brand used during this time period. One still had the “Pro Ring” logo but was missing the “P302”. Another did not have the “”Made in USA” .

1998-2008 Rawlings Bats

In 1998 Rawlings switched to an entirely different design all together. Until 2001 the used an “R” in an oval with “Rawlings, Adirondack, Made in USA” directly below. There is also a colored ring around the bat to the left of the logo. The color is different depending on the team the player was on and the color of the bat.

2009-  Rawlings Bats

Rawlings added a ribbon under the “R” in an oval logo. “Adirondack Pro” is added to the ribbon and “Rawlings, Made in USA” is now under the right side of the ribbon.
